Ashley for the Arts is a three-day music and art festival in Arcadia’s Memorial Park and is one of Wisconsin’s largest charity events. The festival provides the entire family with world-class entertainment and the opportunity to appreciate the arts.
This past year, more than 50,000 people attended Ashley for the Arts, raising more than $425,000 for 40 different nonprofit organizations including 23 participating schools. The event relies heavily on volunteer participation as this year 2,800 volunteers assisted, 150 of which were from Cotter Schools. The band boosters would like to give special recognition to the following individuals who worked all- day shifts or all weekend at the event: Peggy and Rick Duellman; Brian King-Henke; Patrick Hesch; Darin Waltzien; Cindy and Conner Walechka; and David, Kam, Keagan and Kirsten Cranor.
The Cotter Band Boosters Club was honored to receive a check for $14,125 from Ashley for the Arts to Cotter Schools for participating in the event.
