August’s Theology Uncorked event will recall personal memories for many as Father Kurt Farrell — pastor of St. Theo and St. James Catholic parishes in Albert Lea, Minn., and Twin Lakes, Minn., respectively — gives his talk, “Reliving the Great Fr. Fabian.” Father Andrew C. Fabian, OP, AFSC, spent the majority of his Dominican priesthood teaching, with nearly 50 years of that spent as a beloved — and/or feared! — professor of philosophy at St. Mary’s University in Winona. The legacy lives on as Fr. Kurt recalls Fr. Fabian’s story and philosophy. Come to the meeting at The Oaks Wine Bar, 75 West Third Street in Winona, on Thursday, August 22, at 7 p.m.
