Jack E. Martin, 71, of Madison, Wis. and formerly of Winona, died on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, in Madison.
He was born October 9, 1943, in Winona, Minn., to Eugene and Doloris (Multhaup) Martin.
Jack was a graduate of Cotter High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Winona State University and a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He moved to Janesville, Wis., in 1969, where he taught business at Blackhawk Technical College for a number of years. Later in life he moved to Madison and made a daily commute to Rockford, Ill., where he was Director of Institutional Compliance at Rockford Career College. He retired from there in 2013.
Jack is survived by two brothers, Michael Martin and Thomas (Patty) Martin, both of Winona; a nephew, Brian (Bette) Martin and their children Bret Martin and Brittany (Anthony) Suarez; a niece, Wendy (Jeff) Kronebusch and their children Kailey and Jenna Kronebusch; an uncle, William (Leona) Multhaup of Rollingstone; as well as many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Doloris; grandparents, Milton and Helen Multhaup and Michael and Mary Martin; and several aunts and uncles.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
