Marian M. Bollman, age 88, of Winona, died peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2014, at Winona Health. 

 
She was born in Winona, Minn., on June 16, 1926, to Arthur and Hilda (Brand) Schulz, and attended school in Winona. She married Robert (Bob) Bollman, on August 23, 1947, at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winona. They celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary this past summer. 

 
Marian attended Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wilson, where she was a member since 1947. Marian and Bob farmed near Rushford before retiring to Indian Creek by Fountain City, and in recent years returned to Winona. She was a resident at Callista Court.

Marian enjoyed her hobbies of painting and family history. She loved to cook and passed on many wonderful recipes and talents to her children and grandchildren. Most of all, she cherished her time with good friends and love of her family.

Marian is survived by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Bollman; children, Joyce (Tom) Burke, Martha Bollman, Christine Bollman, Carol (Dennis) McQuillan, Bruce (Lori) Bollman, and Barbara (David) Derse; grandchildren, Lance (Jen Mueller) Westby, Andrea (Patrick) Morrison, Christopher (Mary) Burke, Jackie (Daryl) Mayfield, Kacie Vinton, Amanda Vinton, Joseph Derse, Jacob Derse, Isaiah Bollman, Whitney Bollman, Ruthann Bollman, Hannah Bollman, Gabriella Bollman, and Benjamin Bollman; step-grandchildren, Cally (Chad) Moore and Brody (Robyn) McQuillan; great-grandchildren, Emilee Morrison, Abigail Morrison, Aiden Burke, Lauren Burke, Dallace Mayfield, Dakota Mayfield, Peter Bollman, and Elijah Bollman; step-great-grandchildren, Jameson McQuillan and Bennett McQuillan; brothers, Fred Schulz and Arthur (Joyce) Schulz; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by an infant son; parents, Arthur and Hilda Schulz; and brother, Milton Schulz.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 28461 County Road 12 in Wilson. The Reverend Anthony Straseske will officiate.

Marian will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 201 Mankato Avenue in Winona, on Friday, December 26, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. There will not be any visitation held prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
