Sherman, Kenneth C.
"Great Uncle Kenny" "Jerkyman"
December 2, 1963 - December 11, 2016
Kenny died in his home unexpectedly, with his brother, Mike, by his side, from a ruptured brain aneurysm at 10:40 p.m. on Sunday evening.
Kenny is survived by the love of his life, his daughter, Witney Sherman; five sisters, Faith, Bennie, Joyce, Linda, and Leslie; and four brothers, Mike, Den, Doug and Van, along with their brother and sisters-in-law; 11 nieces and nephews; and eight great-nieces and nephews, who he spoiled and adored.
Kenny graduated at the top of his class but he was a joker, always making people laugh. He was always helping anyone who needed it; he was a firefighter and EMT for the Winona Fire Department for many years and well known throughout his community. Kenny loved fishing, hunting, poker and playing the lottery, but mostly his family. Kenny spent a great deal of time watching over all his friends and family on Facebook and always commenting to make sure they knew how much he cared. He dreamed of moving to Montana near two of his brothers and opening a dog rescue.
Kenny was preceded in death by his father, John B. Sherman; his mother, Mildred R. Sherman; a special friend, Scott E. Davies Sr.; and "Coda."
"No longer at your side but always in your heart."
