Green, Donna Mae

Donna Mae Green, 78, of Winona, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 17, 2019. Donna was born on September 22, 1940, in Beloit, Wis., to John and Erma (Henningsen) Foat. She graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 1958. After graduation, she worked as a dental assistant.

She married the love of her life, John Andrew Green, on February 6, 1960, in Beloit. Together, they moved their family to Winona in 1976. John worked as vice president of Badger Foundry and Donna was a stay-at-home mom. John died in 1984. Donna later worked for Watkins Inc.. Donna will always be remembered for being the fun and goofy Grandma to the grandchildren and always wanting to help others less fortunate, offering a helping hand without others even knowing.

She will be missed by her faithful companion, Lasey. She is survived by her four children, Sue (Paul) Kulseth of Waseca, Minn., Ann (Scott) Pruka of Winona, Tim (Michelle) Green of California, Major Andrew James Green of New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Mallorie, Kourtney, Heather, Brett, Jessie, Gillian, Ariana; four great-grandchildren, Brayden, Abbey, Tessa, Aselin; and siblings, Karen, Marlene and Duane.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; grandson, Evan; and sister, Vivian.

A private service will be held by the family and burial will take place in the Spring at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Minnesota City, Minn.
