LeRoy Robert “Bob” Schott, 80, of rural Lewiston, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at his home on the family farm. Bob was born on the family farm to William and Izetta (Hislop) Schott on June 7, 1938. He and Phyllis Vorbeck were married on January 15, 1963, in Winona, and farmed the family farm their entire married lives. He was a dairy farmer and drove limestone truck for Schott Trucking. On the farm, Bob was the straw boss and supervisor. He made sure everyone kept on task with the daily duties he assigned them. Bob told everyone what they needed to get done, down to his last day.
