Buelah Nan (Denzer) Diekman, Altura, Minn., died Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Glendale Nursing Home in Schenectady, N.Y.
She was born September 27, 1929, in Minnesota City, Minn., to John and Esther (Whetstone) Denzer. On November 24, 1950, she married Raymond Diekman of Minnesota City.
In addition to being a homemaker she worked for Hubbard Milling Co. for 17 years, retiring in 1992.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Winona.
She is survived by two sons, Raymond J.H. Diekman of Scotia, N.Y., and Brian S. Diekman (Julie Stanton) of Altura; two granddaughters, Jennifer (Luke) Polus and their children, Mason and Autumn, and Christina (Nick) Pruka and their child, Logan; two brothers, Raymond (Lola) Denzer of Winona, and Niel (Clair) Denzer of Minnesota City; and five sisters-in-law, Gloria Denzer, Elenora Denzer, Myrtle Denzer, Gertie Denzer and Jackie Denzer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and six brothers, Orville, George, Alvin, Gene, Oak and Dale.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 27, at the First Baptist Church in Winona, with Reverend Charles Laymon officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
Friends and relatives may call from noon until the 2 p.m. service at the First Baptist Church in Winona.
