Lois Ann Hass, age 85, was called home in her sleep on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Saint Anne Extended Healthcare, Winona, Minn.
Lois was born on August 28, 1932, to Frank and Ellen (Swenson) Groth. She graduated from WSHS. She married Robert Hass on April 7, 1951.
Along with working at First National Bank, Watkins, and Ridgeway School as a janitor for many years, she worked alongside her husband farming and helped him with countless woodworking projects, as many gifts were made for countless special people.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandy Zaugg, Mary (Ken) Stampka, Marlene (Dean) Schmidt; grandchildren, Ryan (Colleen), Nikki (Barney), Alex, Russel (Kerry), Michael, Renee (James), Robert (Molly), Travis, Deanna (Adam), Matthew (Jordan); great-grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Makia, Jada, Taylor, Robert, Cecillia, Alyssa, Abby, Joshua, Harmony, Ella, Miles, Connor, Jackson, Claire, Brayden, Audrienna and Brooklyn; seven great-great-grandchildren; brother, Donald (Karen) Groth; sister-in-law, Donna Groth; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Robert Groth; and a great-grandson, Ryan.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018, at St. Luke’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Pickwick, Minn., with Pastor James Nelson officiating. The burial will be at Bush Cemetery in Ridgeway. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to time of service and lunch will follow the burial.
Pallbearers are Steve Groth, Dan Groth, Scott Groth, Makia Durham, Travis Stampka, and Mike Beardsley.
