On Thursday, February 27, Wolf Day will be held at our state capitol. Anyone interested in joining the day’s events to advocate for Minnesota’s wolves is invited to do so. Free round-trip bus rides will be provided from Rochester. To sign up for the bus and/or for more information, contact the Howling for Wolves website (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Events are planned from noon to 4 p.m. The day includes meetings with our legislators and an organized rally. If you question the rushed decision to usher in a wolf hunting season, the “why” of the decision, the inhumane trapping and snaring of wolves or a host of other issues surrounding this hunt, Wolf Day will be an important opportunity to make your position known.
