Dakota Area Community School
Students of Dakota Area Community School held a Celebration of Light and Life at Steve Morse Park in Dakota, MN. Families and community members purchased bows to honor or remember someone special. An outstanding, 180 bows were sold! The students sang holiday carols while they hung bows marked with the names of those to be honored on Wednesday, December 22nd. The celebration was followed with hot cocoa and cookies at the school. The bows and lights on the tree will remain through the New Year for all to enjoy. Proceeds of the bows will benefit student programs and general operations at Dakota School. The staff and students would like to thank all the businesses and individuals who helped and participated in this project.
