Here we go again

We have just finished reading two more heretical letters that surely angered and grieved Our Lord and Savior. Those who know God’s word could easily recognize that what these individuals wrote is in opposition to God’s word. This is why we can’t stress enough the importance of studying God’s word. Why? Because people become members of cults and pagan religions because they are ignorant of His word and once Satan has indoctrinated unlearned people with half-truths, it will be nigh on impossible to break falsehood’s grip on them and break away to truth.

God said that in the latter times some would depart from His truth. I Timothy 4:1-2 Now who would want to be one of these misleading and misguided people? After all, where will man’s untruth lead us?

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Of course - today - this is an antiquated, politically incorrect, bigoted statement. Why? Because man has instilled his ways into the hearts of unwise men. We must ask: “Who can truly guarantee us eternity in heaven - God or man?” Proverbs 14:25

The Bible says that God died for the sins of the world, including the sins of Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Joseph Stalin, etc. John 1:29 Yes, this is true. God forgives even murder, but God says we must believe in Jesus Christ and accept His plan of salvation. God says we must realize three things: Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, and Romans 5:8. We need to do as He says in John 5:24, Luke 13:3, and John 11:25-26. God warns us of disbelief; read Daniel 12:2, Matthew 25:46, and John 3:36.

God’s plan of salvation is so simple that a child can easily understand it. It is contained in just those few verses written above. It is of eternal importance that we take just a few minutes to verify these verses. We will never regret taking the time to do this; after all, heaven or hell is at stake. Here are some assurance verses: I John 5:13, Romans 6:23B, and John 5:24.

Unknowingly, members of cults and pagan religions are strictly indoctrinated with man-pleasing verbiage. They are seemingly unaware of the eternal consequences of adhering to such fallaciousness. A great number of saved, scripturally-sound Biblical scholars could prove to these people the errors of their man-inspired book, yet they would unyieldingly and foolishly hold on to the cult’s doctrine of deliberate distortion.

Nowhere does the Bible indicate that God is a wrathful monster, that He enjoys punishing anyone. Where in God’s word does it say that God or anyone else will be viewing gruesomeness, suffering in hell? No one is going to view a loved one or anyone else suffering in hell. This is pure mumbo jumbo! Why? Because heaven is void of everything negative. Heaven is a perfect place.

People who hate God and His truth, pervert God’s truth until it is so ridiculously obvious that these brainwashed individuals have been seared of conscience and have incorrect comprehension of the word of God. They have foolishly laid aside God’s holy word and have taken hold of the cultic book of man. Tragic! Tragic! Tragic! Why? Because they have accepted the ways of men (tradition and delusion) which will rob them of eternal life in heaven.

Nowhere in the Bible does God state that His literal hell will ever be abolished. Belief and reliance on man’s tradition is taught in the cults and pagan religions of the world. God-fearing (respecting) Bible-believing churches do not teach anyone to believe in tradition or to rely on tradition for their salvation. No amount of tradition will save anyone. Jesus Christ alone saves us.

We should pray that the opposers of God’s truth will allow a saved person - someone knowledgeable in God’s word - to give them the true meaning (correct interpretation) of what the word of God really says and also pray that they will not continue to misinterpret the word of God. Pray fully these lost, wayward souls will finally get it, so that we will no longer have to sigh, write another letter and say, “Here we go again!”

Ponder Jude.
