I found an Associated Press article in the WDN today curious, definitively written from the Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) viewpoint. And I used to think articles from AP were much more balanced. Questions to think about: Why do they label GMOs in other countries? Why does Europe reject GMO seeds? Where is much of the research on GMO outcomes being done? What are those results like? Why would nearly 50 percent of voters of California and Washington want labeling? What were they thinking? How many millions did Monsanto and GMA spend to defeat those bills? Can GMO really be called natural? How much atrazine is okay to eat? If you are curious as I am about some of those questions come to Frozen River Film Festival on Saturday evening at 6 p.m. in Somsen auditorium to see GMO OMG, followed by Q&A with producer Joshua Kunau. Tickets can be obtained at the door for $8.
