Life, conception, and DNA

Thank you for your article Kenneth Poss from Galesville. What a lovely story about prayer, confidence and love. How wonderful that you were blessed with twins! Thank you for sharing this. What a wonderful confirmation! I love the part about the dove that stayed 72 hours as a sign to prayers for the first 72 hours of their lives — the crucial point to pass. Praise God! That is so confirming.

Let that serve also to remind us all of the dove that returned to the ark as the flood waters relaxed, that brought an olive branch confirming that life would go on. And the two turtle doves given at the temple by Mary and Joseph on the eighth day of our Lord’s infant life (as was the custom, circumcision on the eighth day — and the very poor could pay with turtle doves). And the dove that rested above Christ at the River Jordan when he told John the Baptist to baptize him — the dove hovered and the voice of God spoke, “This is my beloved son.” Oh my goodness, and then this connects to when at the Wedding Feast in Cana, Mary tells the servants to “Do whatever he tells you.” And again when at the foot of the cross, Jesus looks down to see His mother and His beloved disciple and says, “Mother, behold thy son,” and to John, “Son, behold thy mother.”

It is time to take the Mother of our Lord into our homes.

Do whatever He tells you.

I would also like to express how my heart breaks for all those who have lost babies and those who are not able to have children for whatever reason. Know that there are many people praying for you. And yes, that goes to all the would-have-been parents of the would-have-been children that went to the slaughter of abortion.

Nine months later ... an observable amount of time ... I mean it’s not like we are trying to convince you that life began in some swampwater millions of years ago and went through trillions of stages and then one day became man. That would be extremely unobservable.

Let us ask for those resting in peace babies and little ones to pray for their mommas and papas. For the Lord did say, “Ask and you shall receive.”

Do whatever He tells you.

And now, I would like to say “Yes!” Kenneth ... and “nine months later a bouncing baby,” who at that moment when the sperm met the egg, the conception of a child took/takes place. This is what we call the embryonic (beginning/first) stage of its life. But at this great moment, all the DNA that would ever be present in that person at any stage of life — childhood, adulthood and beyond, is present at that first moment!!! Did you know that?

Mother, behold thy son.
