Yesterday, while eating at Hardee’s in La Crosse, Wis., I shared my Winona Post with a fellow customer who noticed Chris Rogers’ article about the geese problem. He said he works for a fiberglass manufacturing company, F.A.S.T Corp in Sparta, which produces large animals and fish — like the sunfish along Highway 35 in Onalaska, Wis. He said that they produced a large swan to help keep geese off a nearby golf course (supposedly geese and swans are natural enemies). Maybe Winona could become famous for a huge swan in East Lake Winona?
