“SOS finds it incredibly disheartening that the Winona Area Public Schools (WAPS) superintendent and members of the public School Board have chosen to sue a group of concerned citizens who have acted in good faith as strong proponents of public schools.”
We must also consider the superintendent and WAPS Board members as “concerned citizens who have acted in good faith as strong proponents of public schools.” Two concerned citizen board members were strong proponents of saving the schools. After months of analyzing the economic disaster of keeping these schools open, they voted for closure. These two deserve our respect and special thanks.
SOS has not cornered the market of concerned citizens acting in good faith.
