Matter of Faith: I want to become Jewish

If any are not Hebrew, can any become Hebrew? No. One must be born Hebrew. There must be the blood of Jacob running through the veins. One can become a proselyte but there is no inheritance or allotment for them. Non-Hebrews have no access to those promises given to the nation of Israel. They have no direct access to God or their Messiah.

(CLV) Mt. 15:24, 26: “Now He, answering, said, ‘I was not commissioned except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel.’ Yet, He, answering, said, ‘It is not ideal to be taking the children’s [Hebrews’] bread and to be casting it to the puppies [non-Hebrews].’”
Can one cease being a full-blooded Hebrew? No. A person can be unfaithful to the Jewish faith but they are still Hebrews. There is no additional way in, nor a way out. It is made real at the conception of a human, but Jewishness is actually ordained from the disruption of the world system.

The first earth, of which we know little, was disrupted in Gen. 1:2: “As for the earth, it came to be chaos and vacant, and darkness was over the surface of the abyss ...”
It was restored in seven days in Gen. 2:2. Israel was soon front and center until we get toward the end of the book of Acts.

(CLV) Mt. 25:34: “... Enjoy the allotment of the kingdom made ready for you from the disruption of the world.”

(CLV) Re. 17:8: ...whose names are not written on the scroll of life from the disruption of the world ...”

“I want to become a member of the Body of Christ.” Does everyone have that option? No. Members of the Body of Christ are placed, just as Hebrews are placed. The Greek term for “God” means “Placer.” He places us in time, place and circumstance according to His purpose.

Members of the Body of Christ were chosen before the disruption of the world rather than Hebrews being chosen from the disruption. The Body was always foremost in God’s purpose but its existence was hidden from the ages until it was revealed to Paul.
(CLV) Eph. 1:4: “according as He chooses us in Him before the disruption of the world, we to be holy and flawless in His sight.”

Once chosen as a member, there is no way out. Once a member, always a member — just as a born Hebrew is always Hebrew. One can be an unfaithful member, yet that one will still be a member.

(CLV) 2Ti. 2:13: “If we are disbelieving, He is remaining faithful — He cannot disown Himself.”

You see, it is not all about you. It is all about the faithfulness of God. Can He not win over any at a time and place He so chooses? Those denying that fact are unfaithful to God in that aspect of faith. Yet He is remaining faithful.
