Matter of Faith: One last breath — then where?

One last breath — then comes eternity.
One last breath — then comes eternity.
Where will I be if I die tomorrow?
Will I be where there is joy and sorrow?

One last breath — then comes eternity.
One last breath — then comes eternity.
Will it be joy and pleasure that I will gain?
Or will it be darkness and endless pain?

One last breath — then comes eternity.
One last breath — then comes eternity.
If I wait and wait, what will be my fate?
If I reject Christ now, will it be too late?

One last breath — then comes eternity.
One last breath — then comes eternity.
I need to accept Christ as my Savior.
And flee all my wicked behavior.

One last breath — then comes eternity.
One last breath — then comes eternity.
Before we die we have but two choices.
We’ll either hear screams or Heavenly voices.

One last breath — then comes eternity.
One last breath — then comes eternity.
The Bible warns us so we should all know.
By rejecting Christ, we know where we’ll go.

One last breath — then comes eternity.
One last breath — then comes eternity.
Will we hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
Or the words, “Depart from me, I never knew you!”
