We continue to read more and more articles on hell that clearly prove to us that once individuals misinterpret Scripture and have been indoctrinated with falsehood, it is very difficult for such people to ever grasp the true light of God's word. How tragic! Ephesians 5:6-11; I John 4:1.
After the one thousand year reign of Christ, unsaved people will be sent to an eternal hell. Matthew 13:41-42; Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:32-33, 41, 46. God will not send anyone to hell from His eternal, heavenly kingdom. I Thessalonians 4:16-18.
The transgressions will be seen and abhorred by others during Christ's one thousand year reign on this present earth. Isaiah 66:24. Their bodies will not completely decompose because "their worm dieth not" and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9:47-48. These bodies will be held in limbo until the second death. The wicked will have no peace. Isaiah 57.21. This will be their condition through eternity. Mark 9:43-44.
It is not enough that we believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and that we believe in His burial and resurrection. Many people believe this, but are not saved. God says that there is only one way to heaven - His way. We need to realize, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23A and Romans 5:8. Then we must believe, John 5:24. We must repent, Luke 13:3, and we must receive, John 11:25-26. This is God's only assured and unchangeable plan for our salvation. God has no other plan that will keep us from going to hell.
There will not be any one-eyed or one-armed people walking around during Christ's one thousand year reign on earth or in His eternal heaven. These unsaved people will be in a state of decomposition and will be burning in - what someone has called - a garbage dump? Isaiah 33:14. After Christ's one thousand year reign, they will be cast into God's literal hell. Revelation 20:13-15.
Are we to believe that all the inhumane butchers of mankind, terrorists who cut off people's heads, serial killers, evil dictators, abortionists, all those who hate God, etc., will be serving our Lord and Savior in heaven? What utter heresy! What a heretical thing to even think! I John 3:15, Revelation 21:8.
Of course, God is not a liar! Woefully some people are liars and do, and have - even purposely - misinterpreted God's word, thereby leading those who are not knowledgeable in God's word astray. This is why we need to study God's word so that we will not be led astray by wolves in sheep's clothing. II Timothy 2:15, Proverbs 4:5-7.
Rejecting the fact that hell exists, because we are fearful of such a place, will not make it disappear. However, we can thank God that His plan of salvation assures us of never having to spend eternity in such a horrid place. John 5:28-29; II Peter 3:6-7, 10-14; Revelation 20:1-10; Luke 16:23-24; Revelation 21.
Ponder II Timothy 3:12-13, 4:3-4; Revelation 21:18-19.
