Wendy started at the Winona Post in October 2016 as Sarah Squires' assistant, then moved into sales in April 2017. Wendy’s department works closely with employers to attract quality employees through job advertising, also rentals and real estate ads. Wendy grew up in Mankato, Minn., then moved to Minneapolis where she lived for many years. Wanting to move back to a smaller community, she and her husband Dave came to Winona in 2009. Wendy and Dave, along with their dogs Merle and Brutus, then bought a house in Wis., in 2011, and enjoy having Merrick State Park as their back yard. Wendy loves to cook, read and be outside but her favorite thing to do is get out on the river with Dave and the dogs and spend a lazy afternoon in the sun!
