Asian-Pacific American Day at WSU


Being Hmong in the United States is not always an easy thing, a panel of young men said Tuesday at the Winona State University Asian-Pacific-American Day.


"Hawaiian people don't live in grass shacks. We don't walk around wearing coconut shells, and the last white man we ate was Captain Cook," Erica Ka'a No'i Aresta said Tuesday at the WSU Asian-Pacific-American Heritage Day.
