Officer resigns, charges dropped
The City of Winona will accept the resignation of police officer
John Howe III in exchange for the dismissal of several misdemeanor
charges filed against him in connection to the theft of two bicycles
from police custody.

Pepper This 9 year old, declawed, long-haired
(?) male may not look like much right now (bad, bad, haircut)
but he is love starved. Once coaxed out of hiding (I think this
goes back to the bad haircut), he will rub and purr and just
steal your heart! Very passive but affectionate, he seems unaffected
by the other cats and small children.
