New courthouse staircase being reconsidered
Funding for a historically-correct main entry staircase in
the Winona County Courthouse is still in question, but designs
will be drawn up free of charge by the courthouse architect,
the Winona County Board learned Tuesday.

 70 years of 'give and take'
At the end of a quiet street on the outskirts of Winona sits
a cheerful farmhouse, quietly incongruous against the backdrop
of new homes that have sprung up around it. Outside, clusters
of bright flowers dot the landscape, and ivy snakes up the walls
of the old milk house, the only farm building left standing.

Murphy-3 year old declawed, orange striped male. Murphy
is a big, big boy who is very protective of his "stuff".
He watches when his cage is cleaned to make sure you do it right!
He is a very dominant male and extremely independent.
Pepper 9 year old, declawed, male who will eventually
once again have long black hair. Very mild mannered, Pepper has
adjusted to all the other cats and all the people who are always
around. He is a complete sweet.
