Overlaying County 105 could save county $500,000
Facing a $1.2 million budget shortfall, the Winona County
Board on Tuesday discussed ways to reduce spending, one option
being applying an overlay on County Road 105 in Wilson Township
at a cost savings of $500,000.

through Winona's history during " Voices from the past:
Woodlawn Cemetery Discover Walk 2002," sponsored by the
Winona County Historical Society. Public tours will be available
October 12 and 13 from noon to 3 p.m., featuring costumed re-enactors
portraying some of the cemetery's most interesting residents.

Malcomb- This is MalcombMal for short. He has been
at the Humane Society for quite awhile. We know it is his stature
and beautiful golden eyes that some adoptive families shy away
from, but the ladies think that he is a real nice guy. Sometimes
he gets cranky just like you humans do. He is waiting for that
special family to come and find him. Please come soon!
