easier in Minnesota thanks to a legally binding no-call list,
but with the list comes a new round of confusion for consumers
as well.

Employees to move to courthouse by December 21
Work will continue on unfinished

Winona County Courthouse employees will vacate the former
west middle school building by Dec. 31, the date the county's
lease with the building's owner expires, County Administrator
Bob Reinert said at Tuesday's County Board meeting.

Sheriff continues search for jail space
After announcing that Steve Buswell, former jail program coordinator,
has been named the county's new jail administrator and will start
Dec. 2, Sheriff Dave Brand told county commissioners Tuesday
night he will continue to research possible locations in the
City of Winona for a minimum security jail facility to alleviate
overcrowding in the county jail.
