Handmade Neighborhood is excited to announce their spring sale on Saturday April 13th from 9am-1pm at the Winona County History Center (160 Johnson St. Winona, MN). All of the Artists live in the Winona or surrounding area and have created specialty items to sell. Some of the items for sale include: jewelry, natural soaps, fused glass sun catchers, stained glass, photographic prints and cards, children’s gifts, leather pieces and much more! Top Supercross riders Ryan Villopoto, James Stewart, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and more battle it out at the Metrodome for the 2013 AMA Supercross crown. Main event starts at 7:00 PM. Come on out and catch all the bar to bar action during the Minneapolis race.

4:00 pm Winona Hims to sing for Chaplains
The Winona Hims are a multi-talented, ecumenical vocal group who share their passion to sing gospel. This concert is offered in support of the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department Chaplaincy Program which is made up of pastors throughout the county who volunteer in times of need. Free will donations will be received.

Women In Business Presents: "My Last Step Backward" Presented by Tasha Schuh  You are invited to a Women In Business Evening Event on April 18th, 2013 featuring Tasha Schuh. Social hour and appetizers 5-6 p.m., Speaker 6-7 p.m. Book signing 7-8 p.m. Tasha Schuh of Ellsworth, WI, Inspirational Speaker, Author, reigning Ms. Wheelchair USA, and 2012 recipient of the National Rehabilitation Award, will speak on how "Little Things Make a Big Difference." Just days before her opening night performance in The Wizard of Oz, sixteen year-old, Tasha took one step backward and fell sixteen feet through a trap door. On that day, Nov 11, 1997, she landed on the concrete floor of the historic Sheldon Theater, breaking her neck, crushing her spinal cord, and fracturing her skull. She would never walk again. Her newly released book "My Last Step Backward" will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation.
