12:00 am WSU Senior University - The Sex Life of Trees
Five 2-hour walking field trips on and near WSU campus, Lake Park and Woodlawn Cemetary. Participants will discover the fascinating sexual strategies of trees and shrubs: some have a single gender, some both genders on the same flower or different flowers, some change genders as they age or their neighbors change, and some primarily reproduce asexually! Along the way, we will also learn to identify trees without their leaves and observe a large variety of spring wildflowers and flowering weeds. People usually assume that spring trees’ greenish blush is leaf growth, but in many cases the opening buds reveal flowers. **Every other Wednesday**

Join us in celebrating the 40 year anniversary of MCA's Dance Division in an evening featuring the history of MCA and the re-staging of works from years past.

10:00 am Studio Ramble Spring Art Tour
Red Wing area artists invite the public to visit their studios during the Studio Ramble Spring Studio Tour and Art Sale. This annual event offers a unique opportunity to tour studios, meet artists, see and purchase art work in a variety of media including painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, textiles, jewelry, computer imaging and Giclee prints. Visitors can explore the works of over 15+ artists among 10+ sites. Visit studioramble.com for a map, artist bios and event information. Brochures are available at the Red Wing Arts Association, 418 Levee Street, Red Wing, MN, and local shops.

The orchestra is composed of Saint Mary’s students and faculty, along with Winona community members who perform wonderful orchestral repertoire in the SMU and Winona Community. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and students and can be purchased at the SMU Performance Center Box Office or over the phone at (507) 457-1715


7:00 pm Dancing Through the Decades
Join the River City Ballroom Dancers for the Dancing through the Decades dance on Saturday, April 26, 2014. From the Swing era, through the crooners, disco to the Hip-Hop Era! The evening begins with optional Quick Step and Hustle lessons at 7 p.m., followed by dancing from 8 to 10:30 p.m. The dance will be held at the Winona Athletic Club’s 2nd floor ballroom on 5th and Mankato Streets in Winona. Admission is $10 per person; $5 for students. Couples and singles of all ages welcome to attend. No dance experience required.
