Seven of Winona's finest gardens will be open for self-guided tours during A Midsummer's Dream Tour of Gardens. Master Gardeners will be on site to answer any questions. New this year, each garden will feature a local artist or musician. Cost is $15. 9:00 am Day of Honor and Recognition for Birthmothers
A day retreat for women who have relinquished a child to adoption from any era. Geared towards healing, the day includes continental breakfast and box lunch, birth mothers' stories, time for small group sharing, professional presentation, and time for mediation, sacrament of Reconciliation, and ends with Mass. Women need not be Catholic to attend. Scholarships available.

11:30 am Summer Concert in the Park
Bob the Beachcomber will perform at the final Summer Concert in the Park of 2012, sponsored by Winona National Bank. Starting at 11:30 a.m., Winona National will serve its famous $1 lunch, which includes a hot dog, bag of chips, and a drink. All proceeds from food sales will benefit Ready Set School. Lunch orders of eight or more can be pre-ordered and picked-up at the “Group Lunch Pick-up Area,” avoiding the general public line. Pre-orders must be placed by Wednesday, July 18, by calling 454-8800. There will also be free temporary tattoos for kids to enjoy at the concert, while supplies last!

In conjunction with Rushford Days, St. Joseph's Catholic Church is again hosting the All-You-Can-Eat Belgian Waffle Breakfast on Sunday morning July 22, 2012 at Montini Hall, 105 N. Mill St., Rushford, Minnesota, serving from 8:00 AM to Noon. Adults: $8.00; Ages 6-12: $4.00; Children aged 5 & under eat free onsite. Carry outs available. Waffles prepared by Dad's Belgian Waffles of Algona, Iowa.
