INFORMAL QUOTES
FOR
2005 CONCRETE ROADWAY GUTTER PROJECT
Sealed price quotes marked "2005 Concrete Roadway Gutter Project" will be received at the office of the City Engineer, City Hall, 207 Lafayette Street, PO Box 378, Winona, MN 55987 until 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2005 for the furnishing of all labor and materials required for construction thereof for the City of Winona, Minnesota.
Approximate Quantities for the Major Items of Work are:
BITUMINOUS REMOVAL 265 SY
CONCRETE SAWING 20 LF
COMMON EXCAVATION 80 CY
CLASS 5 AGGREGATE BASE 215 TON
BITUMINOUS WEAR & NONWEAR COURSE 40 TON
CONCRETE ROADWAY GUTTER 602 SF
CURB REMOVAL 96 LF
CONSTRUCT CURB & GUTTER 35 LF
Proposals, specifications, and plans may be obtained at the office of the City Engineer, City Hall, 207 Lafayette Street, PO Box 378, Winona, MN 55987, or by calling (507) 457-8269. Price quotes must be made on the proposal forms furnished.
A certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond shall accompany each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid made payable to the City of Winona, Minnesota which shall be forfeited to the City in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract with the City. The contractor shall furnish the owner, within ten (10) days after the contract is awarded, a bond executed by a surety company approved by the owner in the full amount of the contract and conditioned as provided by the General Statutes of this State. The bond shall be executed by a surety company authorized to do business within the State of Minnesota and having a minimum A.M. best rating of B+.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
