New online Century Farm directory (09/28/2005)

The Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) recently launched an online Century Farm Directory on the MFBF website at www.fbmn.org. This is the only comprehensive online Century Farm Directory available in Minnesota. Previously, this information was only available directly from MFBF, the Minnesota State Fair or the Minnesota Historical Society.
The directory provides a complete listing of the over 8,000 century farms in Minnesota with copies of the original applications available for viewing and printing. Each year MFBF and the Minnesota State Fair recognize family farms that have been in continuous family ownership for at least 100 years and are at least 50 acres in size as Century Farms. To view the directory or for more information about the Century Farm program visit the MFBF website at www.fbmn.org and click on Programs and Century Farms.
