UTILITY EXTENSIONS TO PROPOSED
MARITIME MUSEUM
Sealed proposals marked "Utility Extensions To Proposed Maritime Museum" will be received at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 207 Lafayette Street, PO Box 378, Winona, MN 55987 (507-457-8200) until 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 28, 2005 for the furnishing of all labor and materials required for construction thereof for the City of Winona, Minnesota.
Approximate Quantities for the Major Items of Work are:
SANITARY SEWER MANHOLE 4 EA
8" HDPE PIPE WATERMAIN BY HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING METHOD 300 LF
8" HDPE PIPE SAN. SEWER BY HORIZONTAL DIRECTIONAL DRILLING METHOD 325 LF
8" D.I.P. WATERMAIN 490 LF
8" PVC, SDR 26, PRESSURE PIPE SAN. SEWER 459 LF
Proposals, specifications, and plans may be obtained at the office of the City Engineer, City Hall, 207 Lafayette Street, PO Box 378, Winona, MN 55987 (507-457-8269) upon payment of twenty-five and no/100 dollars ($25.00) which payment is non-refundable. The City of Winona will accept credit or debit card payment (Master Card & Visa only). Phone orders for specs will be taken provided a form of credit card is used. Bids must be made on the proposal forms furnished.
A certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond shall accompany each bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid made payable to the City of Winona, Minnesota which shall be forfeited to the City in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract with the City. The contractor shall furnish the owner, within ten (10) days after the contract is awarded, a bond executed by a surety company approved by the owner in the full amount of the contract and conditioned as provided by the General Statutes of this State. The bond shall be executed by a surety company authorized to do business within the State of Minnesota and having a minimum A.M. best rating of B+.
