The American Cancer Society and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network recommend men over age 50 be checked annually for prostate cancer. Winona Health is offering prostate cancer screenings at Community Memorial Hospital on Thursday, October 13, from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Screenings take approximately 30 minutes and are only $10 per person. Those interested should come to Community Memorial Hospital's main lobby to check in. Pre-registration is encouraged, but walk ins are welcome.
The prostate cancer screenings are sponsored by Winona Health Community Memorial Hospital, Family Medicine of Winona and the Winona Clinic.
