Several state and federal agencies are sponsoring an "Employers Conference" in Winona on Wednesday, October 19 at the Minnesota State College Southeast Technical.
The conference brings together a panel of state and federal experts to discuss a variety of regulatory requirements and changes, ranging from fair labor standards and medical leave to workplace safety and payroll issues to complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The conference is ideal for small business owners, small business advisers and economic development professionals and is approved for recertification credits by the Human Resource Certification Institute.
The conference will take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2005, from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at Minnesota State College Southeast Technical, Tandeski Center,
