AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND

THE CODE OF THE CITY OF

WINONA, MINNESOTA

1979

The City of Winona does ordain:

Section 1.That paragraph (37) of Chapter 51 of the City Code of Winona, Minnesota, be amended as follows:

"(37) Wall signs, roof signs, projecting signs, church signs: 10 cents for each square foot or fraction of area therein contained with a minimum fee of $31.00; ground signs: $60.00; sidewalk sandwich signs: $20.00 annual permit fee."

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect upon its publication.

ORDINANCE 3676

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND

THE CODE OF THE CITY OF

WINONA, MINNESOTA

1979

Section 1. That Schedule A of Section 61.26(d) of the City Code of Winona, Minnesota, 1979, which section is entitled "No Parking Zones", be amended as follows:

"NO PARKING AT ANY TIME:

No person shall park or leave standing any vehicle, either attended or unattended, at any time on the following streets:

Industrial Park Drive, southerly side, from a point 485 (800) feet west of Patenaude Drive to a point 520 (60) feet westerly thereof."

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect upon its publication.

ORDINANCE 3673

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND

THE CODE OF THE CITY OF

WINONA, MINNESOTA

1979

The City of Winona does ordain:

Section 1. That Section 43.01 of the City Code of Winona, Minnesota, 1979, which section sets forth the definitions of words and phrases used in Chapter 43, be amended as follows:

43.01 DEFINITIONS. For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:

Family: Persons living together on the premises in a single dwelling unit under one of the following conditions:

1. One person living alone.

2. Any number of persons related by blood, marriage or adoption, including foster children.

3. Three (3) or fewer unrelated persons.

4. Any number of persons related by blood, marriage or adoption, including foster children and up to two (2) unrelated persons.

Exempt from this definition shall be any state-licensed residential facilities.

(Family: A person living alone, or two or more persons all related by blood, marriage or adoption, including foster children, occupying and maintaining a common household in a single dwelling unit, or a group of not more than 5 persons, any of whom are not related by blood, marriage or adoption, including foster children, occupying and maintaining a common household in a single dwelling unit.)

Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect upon its publication.
