Quilters Guild trip to PaducahThe Winona Area Quilter's Guild and Pickwick Tours are hosting a trip to the 22nd annual American Quilter's Society Quilt Show and Contest in Paducah, KY. The public is invited to join.
The group will leave Winona at 6:30 a.m. on Wed. April 26 and return the evening of Sat. April 29. The group will also stop in Onalaska to pick up anyone wishing to leave from there.
Included in the trip fee is motor coach transportation, three night lodging in Marion, IL, a welcome reception, breakfast each day and transportation to and from Paducah Thursday and Friday.
Costs for the trip are $385 for a single room, $260 for a double room, $230 for a triple room, and $200 for a quad. room.
Paducah is called Quilt City USA--a patchwork of art, history, and culture. It is the home of the American Quilter's Society, Museum of the American Quilter and boasts of a growing artists' community. The area supports the efforts of quilters and quilt lovers.
