Interested in tapping a few maple trees in your yard and making high quality maple syrup? You can learn how by attending a Maple Syrup Clinic offered by the University of Minnesota Extension Service.
The clinics will offer something for both beginners and experienced producers, says Carl Vogt, Extension forest resources specialist. The cost is $7.50 ($25 for Duluth) payable at the door, but call ahead to reserve your place.
