The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) will be visiting both the Red Wing and Winona campuses of Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical, February 21 - 23, to conduct an official site visit and review of the college's nursing program. The NLNAC is responsible for the specialized accreditation of nursing education programs, both post-secondary and higher degree (Master's Degree, Baccalaureate Degree, Associate Degree, Diploma, and Practical Nursing program). The Commission has authority and accountability for carrying out the responsibilities inherent in the application of standards and criteria, accreditation processes, and the affairs, management, policy-making, and general administration of the NLNAC.
As part of the site visit request, members of the public who would like to attend the meetings, may visit the Winona, Tuesday, February 21 at 3:30 p.m., Airport Campus, 110 Galewski Drive.
The Red Wing campus meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 22 at 3:30 p.m. 308 Pioneer Rd. - Red Wing, MN. The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission is recognized as the accrediting body for all types of nursing education programs by the U.S. Department of Education, Council for Higher Education Accreditation, CHEA U.S., Uniformed Nursing Services, Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Affairs, National Council of State Boards of Nursing, State Board of Nurse Examiners, Employers, Association of Specialized and Professional Accreditors (ASPA), Pan American Health, Organization, and the Department of Health and Human Services, Bureau of Health Professions, Div. of Nursing.
