The Job Service Employer Committee (JSEC) of the Winona WorkForce Center cordially invites any area business person or anyone even thinking of starting a business to its Workshop Meeting on February 23, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Tandeski Center. The Tandeski Center is located on the Technical College Campus at 1200 Storrs Pond Road. Cherryl Kjos, Winona Social Security Manager, will present updated information on Social Security Issues so business penalties can be avoided. She will also be available for questions. Verifying Social Security (SS) Cards, protecting SS identity, Online Employer Services, immigration related issues, SS Taxes and SS Calculation are a few points that will be covered by Ms. Kjos.
A sandwich bar and beverage will be available with a $5 payment. Registration is required and can be secured by calling the Winona WorkForce Center at 453-2920 or by sending an email to t by February 21, 2006.
