PACER Center presents the "IDEA and the Individualized Education Program," a free workshop for parents of children with disabilities, on Tuesday, March 7, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in room A237 of West Building, Riverland Community College, 1900 Eighth Avenue W., Austin, Minn. Advance registration is required.
Parents will have an opportunity to explore the connection between the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and IEP development including an overview of the evaluation process, team planning, writing measurable IEP goals, and ways to resolve disagreements.
