ADULT BASKETBALL MANAGERS WHO MISSED THE ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING
We held the organizational meetings November 20th for all the Adult Men's Basketball Leagues. Those managers who were not present at the meeting need to stop in at the Park Rec. office in City Hall to get the information you should have gotten at the meetings. Please do so immediately. Your schedules are included with the information and materials. Copies of the schedule have been made for each of your team members. (Special Note: When you pick up your information materials please check over the schedule while you are still in our office to see if the sponsor, name, address, phone numbers, etc. are correct, if not, let our secretary know so changes are made.) The basketball leagues begin play the week of December 1st. We have a total of 19 Men's Adult Basketball teams-divided into 3 leagues. We anticipate a great season with some evenly matched leagues and some great games. Please treat our officials with respect, officiating Park Rec. Leagues are hard enough already and it's very hard to get officials. Respect the facilities we use and thank you Winona State University and Winona Middle School for allowing us to use your facilities. Our collaboration with facility use is not only necessary but very refreshing and much appreciated. This is a strong tribute to our community.
ADULT BASKETBALL ROSTERS AND STARTING DATES:
Your official roster is due on or before December 18, 2003 by 4:30 p.m. Please turn those into the Park Rec. office, not to the scorekeeper/timer or officials. II League starts Dec. 1st (Mondays) at WSU-Talbot Gym with games at 7, 8 & 9 p.m. The Men's Div. III League starts Dec. 3rd (Wednesdays) at the "New" Middle School with games at 7:30 & 8:30 p.m. Good luck and have a great season.
