The Winona Middle School Drama Club will present the musical "Flapper" on Friday, March 10th and Saturday, March 11th at 7:30pm in the WMS auditorium. Tickets may be purchased by contacting the After School Activities office at 494-1060 or at the door. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for students.
"Flapper" is a salute to the Roaring Twenties. Polly Pepper entertains the cast with her tales of daring and adventure. Her friends are excited for her as her 18th birthday approaches because she is going to inherit a million dollar diamond necklace. Of course, such a valuable piece of jewelry attracts some shady characters who would like to get their hands on it.
WMS 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students form a cast of 59 who perform fifteen musical numbers.
