Winona Senior High faculty and students joined Winona FFA members to celebrate National FFA Week February 18-25. Students participated in dress-up days and in an all-school Ag/FFA quiz. The UM-Raptor Center brought a bald eagle and three other birds of prey to give presentations to WSHS agriculture classes in honor of FFA Week.
Winona FFA members hosted the Annual Old Settlers Banquet and sponsored an appreciation breakfast for WSHS faculty and staff. Winona FFA members were also recognized at the February 26 Minnesota Timberwolves game as bring one of the top 10 FFA chapters in Minnesota.
WSHS office staff won the all-school quiz, office secretary Rita Lehnertz won the $30 gift certificate to Sullivans Restaurant, and Winona FFA member Ethan Waadevig won the Blue and Gold Day $25 cash drawing.
