Carl Sackreiter of St. Charles in Winona County joined over 70 Farm Bureau members from across the state attending the American Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF) Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Conference February 24-28 in Des Moines, IA.
Informational sessions were presented on the farm bill, livestock outlook, producer-owned cooperative business opportunities, grain outlook, media relations, policy development, Ag in the Classroom and more. Carl farms along with his father, uncle and grandfather. They have a cow/calf operation, raise feeder cattle and hogs and grow corn, soybean and forages near St. Charles. Carl is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
