Spring thaw restrictions in effect as of March 6 (03/09/2006)

Frozen road declaration ending on and south of WIS 29 as spring thaw restrictions implemented. Weight restrictions to be imposed on trucks to preserve roads.

Recent mild weather in southern sections of the state has prompted the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to declare that spring thaw requirements will be in effect on and south of WIS 29 on Class II roads effective at 12:01 a.m. Monday, March 6, 2006.
