Fran Filzen, president of Fortress Bank Minnesota, a community bank and affiliate of Community Financial Group, has announced the appointment of Chris Eide as the agricultural and commercial lender for Fortress Bank Minnesota.
Eide, is a native of Minnesota and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He brings several years experience to his new position, as well as a strong focus on client service.
"I grew up on a dairy and hog farm south of Rushford, which my family still operates," Eide said. "I graduated from Rushford-Peterson High School and then from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Most recently, I worked at Associated Bank where I was responsible for agricultural, commercial, and consumer lending."
