Winona Export Seminar provides basics of doing international business (04/02/2006)

The Minnesota Trade Office (MTO) is offering an introductory level seminar on exporting Thursday, April 13, from 8 a.m. to noon in Winona for anyone interested in learning the basics of doing business in foreign countries.

The Export Process seminar introduces yet-to-export and new-to-export companies to the basics of exporting. It provides a broad overview of fundamental topics ranging from assessing a company's export readiness, to finding the right market for products or services, to arranging shipping, export financing and payment.

Date/Time: Thursday, April 13, 8 a.m. to noon. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

Location: Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical, Winona Campus, Tandeski Center,

Fee: $50, includes materials and light breakfast. Pre-registration is highly recommended.
