The 5th Annual Easter Egg Event will be held on Saturday, April 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Tandeski Center on the MN State College SE Technical Campus. Pieces of the Past, Time Out 2 Learn & Play, Winona Daily News, Winona Island Café, and Winona National Bank are working together to sponsor the Easter Egg Event which is FREE and open to the public.
There will be a non-competitive egg hunt, activities, and games geared to children ages 2-10. The non-competitive egg hunt will be held outside, weather permitting. Children are given a special ticket for the hunt and can look for three filled eggs at any time. In the event of poor weather or soggy ground, eggs will be distributed inside the Tandeski Center.
Approximately 15 games and crafts are planned for the event. Children will be able to build a bird feeder using bagels, peanut butter and bird seed, decorate their own egg-shaped cookie using food markers, make a hand print bunny, and more. Games will include a jelly bean toss, musical eggs, bingo, and more.
Each child will receive a ticket for the non-competitive egg hunt and three tickets for the games and crafts at no charge. Additional tickets for games and crafts can be purchased for $0.50 each or 3 tickets for $1.00. Proceeds from this event will benefit Ready Set School.
Hop on over to the Tandeski Center Saturday, April 8, from 10:00 - 12:30.
