Local players lead SMU scoring (12/03/2003)
Jamie Rattunde (Rollingstone, Minn.) recorded her first career triple-double vs. the Coe College Kohawks, scoring 15 points, pulling down 13 rebounds and dishing out 12 assists in last week's basketball game. All five SMU starters scored in double figures vs. Coe " including 19 points from Beth Walch (Lewiston, Minn.), and 17 from Ashley Luehmann (Altura, Minn.). SMU's win over Coe snapped a season-opening two-game losing streak. SMU's 78 points vs. the Kohawks was a season high. The Cardinals complete a four-game season-opening road trip Wednesday at Hamline, before their home opener Saturday vs. St. Olaf.
