WSHS German Klub wraps up great year (04/12/2006)
The Winona Senior High School's German Klub completed another successful year with their recent performances of the fairy tale "Schneewittchen," or as it is known in English, "Snow White." The German Klub performed twice at the Winona Middle School for 5th, 6th and 7th graders as well as for their friends and family and teachers at Winona Senior High. The German Klub will begin practice again in the fall for the 2006-07 fairy tale performance. The klub is open to all WSHS students who have had German or who are currently in German class. This year the klub membership doubled in size over previous years.

Senior class members are Nancy Gilles, Amanda Gabrych, Emily Mackey, Nathaniel Schmelzer, Norma Garcia, Kendra Kuchel, Amy Olson, Jessica Pozanc, Jocelyn Fratzke, and Michelle Beck. Junior class members are Marco Schliedermann (from Nürnberg, Germany), Jennifer Schmidt, John Richter, Kyle Kastenschmidt, Anna Becker, Hannah Judisch, Alyssa Kenow, Andy Ayers, and Josh Schmelzer. Sophomore klub members are Jessica Penrod, Beth Hacken, Victoria Ferden, and Casey Kukowski. Freshman klub members are Katy Eng, Noah Short, Elisabeth Leighton, and Maureen Vance.
