If flower seeds could talk, they would probably have quite a fabulous story to tell us. They might tell us how awestruck they are by God's astounding creation.
With God all things are possible, so let's assume that flower seeds can reason and also understand the spoken word. An individual who is going to plant some flower seeds says to them, "Each of you is going to be a different color. Each of you is going to be a different height. Each of you is going to be a different shape. Each of you is going to have a different scent. Each of you will be different in size." This individual then shows each seed a picture of how the flower seed will look when it becomes a full-grown flower. Of course the flower seeds can not believe that such a miraculous change is possible. How can all this beauty spring forth from nearly nothing?
Flower seeds would probably wonder how God could possibly program into a seed, smaller than the head of a pin, everything that this particular seed would develop and blossom into. How can such a tiny seed be planted in a plot of plain, old dirt, and then in a few weeks this teeny-weeny flower seed - having gone through metamorphosis becomes a beautiful flower?
When fully grown a flower might say, "Wow! I'm beautiful! How did God do this?" Only God could make it possible for a very tiny flower seed to grow into something pleasurably beautiful. An individual just puts some flower seeds in some old, black dirt and these seeds soon grow into a beautiful creation. This is amazing! It seems impossible. God programs each seed to have a different design or feature and each seed will end up being distinctively different from all the others. This is astonishing!
Do we ever take time to stop and look at the various flowers that we may only glance at? They are beautiful! God's creation of boundless beauty is everywhere. Take a look - a good, long look. God's creation was made for each of us to enjoy - often.
Shouldn't we be thanking God for all of His beautiful, mind-boggling creation? Flowers can't speak, but we can.
